Following the success of BET Awards and BET Comedy Awards, Black Entertainment Television has now added BET Hip-Hop Awards to the fold. The show will be hosted by comedian Katt Williams. BET president of entertainment Reginald Hudlin said BET's version will have a different focus from VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors, which also runs annually.
