Michael Flatley
Michael Flatley is the name responsible for the first Riverdance. He really burns up the stage with his dance moves and is simply amazing to watch as the human body takes on such beautifully rhythmic shapes and movements. Born on July 16, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, Flatley is an Irish step dancer who started dancing seriously when he was 11. Flatley showed great promise even as a child and won the Chicago Golden Gloves Championship. After graduating from dance school, he opened his own. Flatley was the one who first started the choreography for Riverdance and made it into a great success with his fellow lead dancer Jean Butler. The show actually featured during the intermission of another show, believe it or not! Flatley can also lay claim to the fame that comes from one of the world’s greatest dance shows: Lord of the Dance. He is also known for shows like the Feet of Flames which went on tour in America in 2000 and 2001. Flatley dances with absolute passion and is a marvel to watch, so book your tickets for the show now at www.TicketsInSeconds.com and don’t wait.
