Secrets of a Soccer Mom
The play is not as boringly domestic as its title, so do not be put off - either by this or the opening scene which features a typical mom doing laundry dancing away to a pop song. The play unfolds and brings out plenty of laughter from the audience with its witty dialogue and funny scenes.Secrets of a Soccer Mom was written by Kathleen Clark and the production was directed Judith Ivey, who won a Tony Award. The story revolves around three soccer moms: Alison, a young, hot and new to the scene is played by Caralyn Kozlowski, Lynn - while soccer mom number 2- is performed by Ms. Sonnenberg, the wiser and older hyper-active field trip organizer. The third soccer mom is Nancy, the oldest of the three and cynical, played by whom else but Nancy Ringham. This play is ideal for a girl’s night out as it focuses on the relationships between three women and the bond they share. It has plenty of drama, loads of mush and even more fun. This is a real feel good play hosted at the Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th Street.Although a tad bit predictable, the play is worth the ticket, so book yours as soon as you can or book them online at www.TicketsInSeconds.com.
